Let’s Talk About Flooding
Maple House, 150 Corporation Street, Birmingham B4 6TB
10.00 – 15.30 Saturday 10th November
Who is it for?
If you have been flooded or if you are at risk, this event is for you.
Why should I come along?
Flooding has a huge impact on people and their families.  This event is a chance for you to

  • Share your experiences with others in the West Midlands
  • Identify the things that really matter to you?
  • Discuss your issues and concerns with flood risk management organisations
  • Influence and support professional partners to work for change
  • Shape the work of the National Flood Forum in its push for change in national policy

What will happen as a result?

  • Your priorities will shape a national conference in 2019, to which the Secretary of State, Michael Gove MP has been invited
  • A report will be produced and circulated to participants and local elected members
  • You can help shape the work of the National Flood Forum in its campaign for change

The conference will tackle two themes

  1. What are the flooding issues that really matter to you?
  2. What we need to do to bring about change?
