Being prepared will make things so much easier if your home is ever flooded. Putting together a Flood Kit ‘Grab bag’ is a key way of minimising the risks and surviving the worst, if you choose to stay in your home or are evacutated to a rest centre.

Make sure you Register for flood warnings by calling Floodline on 0345 988 1188 so that you can check the latest status for your area.
Flood warnings in England are provided by the Environment Agency and in Wales by Natural Resources Wales. They constantly measure rainfall, river levels and sea conditions to forecast the likelihood of flooding.
